Guy Hopson has in excess of 20 years’ experience in the legal profession. He formed Hopson Solicitors in October 2010 with a view to developing a niche practice focusing on the provision of a personal, pragmatic service to its business clients. Guy worked previously as a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial department at Harrison Clark, having also spent time at BPE and Willans, all in Cheltenham. Born and raised in Gloucestershire, Guy is well known among the business community and indeed, among other professionals.

Guy was joined by Andréa Hopson on 1 April 2011 when the business became a partnership. Andréa has in excess of 20 years’ experience in employment law having been a Partner at both Harrison Clark and BPE in Cheltenham. Before this she worked at Clarks in Reading and Wiggin & Co.

The business was incorporated in October 2020 and now operates as Hopson Solicitors Limited.

Guy’s team is bolstered by Andrew Hough, a director and Jessica Morgan, a solicitor, in our corporate/commercial team .

They have added a strong dispute resolution department headed up by Tim Wheeler which is going from strength to strength.

Gareth Parry has joined the firm as our head of Wills and Probate and adds an extra “string to our bow” with an ability to advise clients on Wills, Probate and Estate Planning.
