Andréa Hopson

Director

Andréa is recognised as a leading Employment Law specialist both regionally and further afield. With in excess of 20 years’ experience in Employment Law she has been recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession as a leader in her field.

On top of her vast generic knowledge of Employment Law, Andréa has particular expertise in business reorganisations, redundancies, business transfers (TUPE), discrimination, employment agencies, unfair/wrongful dismissal and termination settlements, particularly at executive level. She advises all manner of business from smaller OMB’s through to renowned Plcs.

Andréa’s pragmatic “can do” approach to employment issues has earned her a large, diverse and loyal client base. Her commercial attitude is valued greatly by business clients who appreciate also her personable manner. She solves problems and delivers solutions in a “no nonsense” manner.

Andréa is a renowned public speaker and trainer for both clients and for external seminars. Andréa is passionate about her job and the everyday challenges created by Employment Law itself. However, her ability to simplify these changes and bring them to an understandable level for her clients is what she does best. Indeed, she becomes an integral part of her client’s business’ rather than an external adviser.

In her spare time, Andréa enjoys spending time with her children and is particularly enthusiastic watching them pursue their own sporting and other interests. She is regularly seen accompanied by her ever faithful black Labrador, Guinness and, more recently, the rather exuberant fox red Labrador, Thatcher !
